Intro to Entrepreneurship Week 6

This week has been a lot of introspection. What are my priorities? Who do I put first? Who should I put first? What does it take to succeed? Do I have what it takes to succeed?

I lack a lot of self motivation. I tend to have to be "to the line" to perform a lot of times. Take this week for example. I had very few assignments to do for two of my three classes. I've had all week to work on them and also work on my Sacrament Meeting talk. Here I am on Saturday finishing everything. When I don't feel the pressure, I'm more inclined to do other things or mess around. I've managed to clear 1500 old emails from my inbox. Did it need to be done? Sure. Did it need to be done this week? Absolutely not. This tendency is something I need to work on.

My talk is on Sacrifice. I think I'm going to bring in the parallel of Opportunity costs and connect it in business terms. The video about Loyalty to God and Family really makes me think about sacrifice. We need to make sure we sacrifice in the right areas. If we avoid sacrificing God and family for business then I think the business side will take care of itself.

In Mastery the chapter on Intentionality was quite familiar to me. We were talking about that at one of our Pampered Chef meetings. I think visualizing and intentional steps make a big difference in a business. I think vision boards are great for this. I have started putting little sayings on my computer. The one that is there now was said in Relief Society last week (I'm usually in nursery but we didn't have any kids) and I made sure to write it down. We were talking about tools and habits. She had made wrenches that said Scripture Study, Family Home Evening, Prayer, and Attending the Temple. She said using these tools are simple but it's hard to do. Here's what she said:
